Bisphosphonates/Radiotherapy

Hi ..

I have now been offered post op, radiotherapy for 15 days.

Also another 5 cycles of immunotherapy at 6 week intervals.

Plus 3 years taking Bisphosphonates for 3 years.

Has anyone else had this, if so ... Did you get any side effects?

  • Yes to radiotherapy and bisphosphanates. 
    radiotherapy does add to any shoulder problems so do those exercises. You can also get scar tissue (struggling with that now, rads was last July) 

    bisphosphanates, be prepared for indigestion if it’s tablets, especially at night.
