Does anyone have any strategies to clear your mind of your diagnosis and get a decent nights sleep. I’m waking up throughout the night and my mind goes into overdrive
Dr Amir Khan talked about cognitive shuffling on Instagram this week which involves thinking of words and visualising them. I’ve tried it twice since, got me back to sleep one time but not the other. Might be worth a try. Radio/podcasts work well for me too but involve moving to another room so as not to wake my husband. I need to listen to something interesting enough that I don’t get annoyed or go back to stressy thoughts but not so interesting that it keeps me awake.
I tried this last night and it did help, thank you
