Hi all , I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in july 22 and had a mastectomy and SNLB in Aug 22 followed by chemo, lymph nodes clearance finally radiotherapy which ended in August 23. I managed to get through it all pretty well with fatigue being my main side effect. My troubles started with the medication after the physical treatments . Abemaciclib made me extremely ill and it was discontinued after 7 months when I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism in Feb 24 ,letrozol caused terrible joint pain so after a breaking was put on anastrozole which was better and life was slowly getting better until last week and after weeks of feeling and being sick getting increasingly lightheaded and unsteady on my feet I was diagnosed with hydroencephalitus and underwent surgery to have a shunt put in . I'm so fed up at the minute so excuse the long post I just can't seem to catch a break. Has anyone else had problems like these or am I just really unlucky x
Oh gosh, so sorry to hear you have so much going on, that must be so tough to deal with. I hope that you recover well from your recent surgery and that things start to get better for you. Best wishes
