Had my surgery for breast and lymph nodes done, overnight surgery hospital nurses great but glad to be out bit wobbly after lying in bed for 2 days, have drain in which need emptying every day, and go back to consult next Wednesday and have dressing taken off, and results, then back for another ct scan week later for abdominal scan, but resting up now can’t wait to have nice shower.

Just wanted to check up on you. Recently diagnosed with invasive ductal bc. Am waiting for my lumpectomy. They have talked about going home with drains etc. Just wanted to offer encouragement. Am really anxious about the whole prognosis and journey to be honest. Thanks xx
Hi nonz have had all my tubes taken out now, and stiches healing slowly still some pain but bearable, tired but trying to keep active around the house. Fed up with weather so gloomy and cold, have oncology tues and consultant weds to have some more drainage done, feel same as you anxious about what happens next, trying to stay positive but hard, keep well mick.
