Hi, I paid privately for gene testing. I approached the Royal Marsden in London, just from the website. They were very efficient, the gene test is a simple blood test with in person consultation, with approx. 3 week wait for results. I think the costs vary slightly depending on the consultant, but I paid £500 (incl. lab costs). It was well worth it.

I used Color.com, my consultant recommended them and they send it all through online. Can’t remember the cost, sorry x

That’s annoying. I was offered the nhs test at Royal Marsden as I am 41 and no history of breast cancer. The test was saliva based but don’t get the results for 6-8 weeks.
