Always a waiting game! Iv been waiting 5 months on scan  Cancer is the gift that keeps giving lol x

How are you.i had 2nd breast removed 9 years ago.it was 8mn 9 years ago considered scarring.recently showed up on kidney scan as 17mm.had to chase it as been 6 weeks and ive been referred to lung mdt so have to wait.

What an emotional rollercoaster

Absolute rollercoaster! I have been on Enhertu now for nearly 2 years! Lung nodules were metastatic! Will be on this till it stops working which I hope wont be for a long time! Hope you get answers oon! Always seems to be a waiting game! In the meantime just love yourself and stay as positive as you can! Its bloody difficult but you will get through each day ️xxx

Hi Josie, t's reassuring to read your post. A CT scan showed an abnormality, on my lung, I've had a couple of cts, bone scans, the next step will be a pet Scan. I'm terrified . Had breast cancer 4 years ago, when you think your life is going to be ok, here comes another surprise! Big hug X trying to stay positive ️‍️

I have just started EC chemo this week after lumpectomy and lymph node removal (5 involved).

I had a ct scan after the surgery which my oncologist informed me that there were 2 very small nodules in my right lung which I was assured were both showing benign markers and they wouldn't have even mentioned to me if it wasn't for the cancer. Apparently, I will be getting another scan in 3 months time.

I'm not happy with my medical team at all due to a raft of other mistakes and generally not being listened to. I did explain that pre cancer diagnosis I had sometimes noticed some shortness of breath when walking which wouldn't usually be something I would experience being 41 and very fit and healthy.

They have given me no reason to believe that the cancer has spread but based on current experiences of incompetence nothing would surprise me if they are wrong about that now

 Cancer is the gift that keeps on giving! I was given the all clear then called back 2 weeks later to say that the scans had been read wrong! But im still here to fight another day xx
