I had to come off HRT cold turkey 4 weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone else has had symptoms similar to mine?
i have become very anxious. My mouth is constantly dry. About 3.30am I wake up with a burning sensation down my arms and in my stomach then I begin to physically shake. I then have several bouts of diarrhoea. Also getting lots of trapped wind and back pain. I did see the GP who thinks it may be IBS and she gave me some diazepam to take one in the morning. It hasn’t really made any difference. I have also lost too much weight. I force myself to eat but the weight isn’t coming back on.
The wound from my surgery is healing nicely and the above symptoms are causing me the anxiety.
