Hello all… I’m due to start my treatment in the next couple of weeks does anyone have any advice as to what I can do or take to help me through my first session please?
Hiya,
firstly can I just say “I’m sorry to hear that your having to start the chemo in the first instance” and hopefully it’s in its very early stages and the treatments obliterate it!
The only real thing I can suggest in taking, is a big deep breath walk in face everything head on, ask the questions that pop into your head, however daunting and believe your going to beat this “positivity no matter how bleak at times is the key” (own personal journey) also you should be given a set of two lots of tablets as well anti sickness and another one but I never found it that bad, so didn’t have the need for them, it was just the travelling too and from treatments that got me!
I hope all gos well for you now and in the future
kind regards and best wishes
D
