Hi all, I wanted to know if it’s normal to have hard lump tissue around the area where I had lumpectomy for breast cancer. It’s been 10 months since my op and it was numb for months. Only recently started to get some feeling and when I check check the area it seems hard and lumpy. Is this normal?

It's not unusual to have scar tissue in the form of hard lumpy tissue around the operation site. If you are really worried about it you might be as well off to get it checked by your breast care nurse if only for your own piece of mind.
