Hi I’ve had lumpectomy & Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy on Thursday. I’m really worried it’s spreading. They initially said it grade 2 early stages. I’ve had MRI WHICH CONE BACK as not spread. But why do the SLN biopsy?
please need reassurance x
Hi Burgess welcome to the forum. t is common practice in all Breast Cancers to take the Sentinel node for testing. They described it to me as the Sentinal soldier in his box and if nothing has got past him then there had been no spread to other lymph nodes beyond that one if that makes sense.
