After waiting what seems like the 90 days that January felt to have been this year I finally have my surgery tomorrow. I both can’t wait to get this hideous thing out of me but am terrified that they may find something unexpected……..another two weeks of anxiety until pathology is back. I know I don’t have to explain you you guys, it’s part of the journey and I’ve found huge comfort in the support and advice since I “joined the club” in December.
well wish me luck and see you on the other side xx
Good luck Jooliepie , great that you’ve reached this stage, I know I was so glad to get to ‘eviction day’. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope you can be like me and ‘enjoy’ the anaesthetic (I really do!). It’s true that you then have to wait for results (all the waiting is tortuous), but definitely good to get started with your treatment. Love and hugs, HFxx
Hooray, great to have that done! And I agree, thank goodness for the NHS. Now the beast has been evicted, rest up, and hopefully sleep well tonight after the anaesthetic. That’s a big step forwards, getting your op over and done with. Love and hugs, HFxx
