Hi everyone, I have my first Zoladex injection on Monday….did people start taking AIs (e.g. letrozole) at the same time or waited a few weeks? X
I started a few months later. You need to be fully post-menopausal first and it takes a few weeks for your hormone levels to drop
I started my anastrazole at the same time as I had my first zoladex but my periods had stopped whilst I was having chemo so maybe that was the reason.
Same here. Any side effects. I’m really suffering. And literally just started
When starting Zoladex, it's typically recommended to begin taking AIs (like letrozole) a few weeks after the first injection. This allows your body to adjust to Zoladex first and lets you monitor its effects before adding an AI.
However, it's crucial to follow your doctor's specific advice on when to start AIs, as they'll have the best understanding of your individual situation and can provide the most appropriate guidance.
Also, remember to use only high-quality medications from reliable pharmacies to ensure their safety and effectiveness.
