Having a really hard time almost 2 weeks post op and all I feel like doing is sleeping are there any suggestions as to what people eat for food to help with tiredness or what kind of other things I can concentrate on
Hi, sleeping is the best way to recover and your body is telling you to rest. Please try to do just that it is very inportant you rest and eat well. On what to eat to help tiredness i have not come across anything in particular. I ate plenty of fruit, homemade chicken soup, or tinned if you dont feel like cooking, plenty of vegtables, tinned rice pudding. If you are feeling really tired you could give your breast care nurse a ring she might recommend getting your iron levels checked and medication might be needed just a thought. I used to knit, read a book, watch tv,and do jigsaw puzzles all relaxing hobbies. Its early day and try not to rush into things your body needs time to heal, i wish you all the best x
Thank you I will try my best to eat as healthy as possible an rest I enjoy listening to meditation videos thanks and take care
