Chemo Curl

Hello, your post made me smile as it reminded me of when my partners hair grew back curly, I used to say it looked like the queen's hairdo!

After a couple/few months it went back to its original texture and wave. It seemed to be the initial regrowth where it was thicker and curly.

Hi KMT , daughter (different cancer) lost her hair 3 times, the first 2 it grew back quickly and had my thick hair with wavy, slightly curly hair (hers was straight and thinner more like her Dads) but the 3rd time it was slower to grow back and was straighter, more like her normal self. Not sure whether that was due to the slowness of it growing back. It took around a year each time to become much like her norm.

I finished chemo 20/04 my hair has grown back curly. 19/12 today still curly but long and so thick. Not sure when it will stop being curly 

• I’ve had mine trimmed a few times and it does not seem to stop being curly either - in South Africa now for 3 months so no one knows me so letting it grow !!

Hi yes I look exactly like the queen too lol. It's been six months now so maybe this is just how I'm meant to look from now on

My lovely husband has told.me.my hair is growing back like Tommy cooper so needs trimming. He's done this a couple of times. My hair grew back grey and curly. Going to visit hairdresser next month and hopefully curl will calm down.

The other day my partner said I looked like a nutty professor when I got up and my curly grey hair looked like it had had electric shock treatment lol. How long has yours been growing back please?
