Hi there! Fear not but they only do a mammogram on existing breast as there’s no tissue to stuff under the iron plates on the mastectomy side! It’s much quicker than before, obviously. I wish you well xxxx

I only had mammogram and nothing else.  I then got a text some time later to say nothing detected. Have never seen breast surgeon since he did my op in Feb 2022…Yes! It is fun and glamorous….! I now take my top off at the drop of a stethoscope!!

Haha it’s funny how we become accustomed to it ( not really funny but hey laugh or you cry huh )
