dark patches in armpits

Hi

I’ve recently noticed dark patches, a bit like birthmarks in my armpits. Wondering if they are hormone related. I’ve been taking Anastrazole for 3 years. Is there anyone else on here who has experienced this? It might not be due to anastrazole. I’ve also read it could be down to insulin resistance.

  • Hi Polarbear welcome to the forum . I know I had a lovely tanned looking breast area after radiotherapy but it  disappeared in time.  I'm not dure what could be causing that but it's worth either a call to the breast clinic where u were seen to speak to them or a visit to the GP to maybe have some bloods done and these areas checked out. Xx
