Glad you’re home Daisy53 , rest up and let yourself recover, don’t push to do anything you don’t have to. Anaesthetic after effects can include feeling ‘down’, and that’s without all the stress of the last months which will also take their toll. Hi Daisy, I'm just home 2day after a 1 night stay for a right mastectomy. I'm lucky that I don't have the drain, I guess surgeons must do things differently as I thought I was getting 1 too but obviously didn't need one. I haven't felt very down since the op and been keeping active which I shldnt be doing! I know it will hit me eventually but Im concerned that the way I'm feeling isn't normal. I hope ur ok. Like urself, results in 2 weeks, another waiting game
