Lumpectomy - round 2

I had a lumpectomy on 3rd August and today received my results.

Unfortunately I do not have clear margins so require a second operation. At first I felt gutted I just wanted this to be over with. However after several cups of tea, I am now looking on the bright side that we have a wonderful (albeit under strain with limited resources) NHS. Without this wonderful organisation I would probably not have been diagnosed. After my second operation I will probably have radiotherapy and maybe medication but for me that will probably be it. I am so trying to look on the positive side of this. I am now sort of grateful if that makes sense.

On the bright side I was informed that the operation would be a quick one that would take approximately 40 minutes, so they are hoping to slot me in asap but still need to be prepared for the usual 3-4 week waiting list.
