^ months in to taking anastrozole and wasn't having too many problems. The last 3 weeks I'm having loads of flushes, feeling tried and weepy. Is this a glitch that will go away? I have also been taking Lansoprazole for acid reflux over the last 4 weeks. has anyone found that this causes problems with Anastrozole? I'm keeping up my steps and doing exercises every day. any ideas?
Has your brand if anastrazole changed recently. I am only on my second pack of this bit its a different brand and I have had far worse hot flushes than on first pack. So I have requested the original brand for third pack and will see how I go.
I'm afraid I didn't get on with Anastrozole at all. I was on tamoxifen nearly 2 years when at my 2nd year check I was told I'm post menopausal due to not having periods for 2 yrs and recommendation is to change. I lasted 6 weeks on them. Terrible aching joints, swollen ankles the worst, really horrid hot flushes which I'm still suffering from. Chronic insominia. I'm just exhausted. They have switched me back to tamoxifen but only been a week so need to wait a bit longer to get the other one out my system. Like most pills, the brand and the fillers can make a huge difference so worth seeing if your chemist can give you another brand. Sending hugs x
Same brand Accord. Come off the Lansoprazole at the end of the week, so I'll see what happens. Thank you X
Wondering if my hormones have plummeted. Wonder how low you really need to be to be safe. x
