Hi! I've been taking Tamoxifen in tablet form for over 12 months now. I've tried 4 different brands all of which have had different side effects. I've read that the side effects are caused by the tablet coating used by the pharmaceutical companies during manufacture. I'm currently on Tillomed brand because my pharmacist is not able to obtain Teva. The new side effect after 3 days on Tillomed is fluid retention on my feet and ankles - with Teva I suffered hot flushes and night sweats. Wockhardt was severe leg cramps and relonchem was very dark mood.
My question is whether anyone has tried the liquid version of Tamoxifen and whether they suffered from any side effects? My thinking is that surely if it's the tablet coating that causes the side effects then a liquid would avoid this.
I'm feeling really fed up at the thought of another 4 years (perhaps 9 even) having to battle these awful side effects. Haven't I been through enough already?
Hi, personally I have not come across Tamoxifen as a liquid, but I noticed your post hasn’t had any replies and has dropped down the pages as the site is quite busy. My answer will bump it back up again and hopefully someone with the right experience will be along soon. Best wishes
