Hi
has anyone had any experience with wearing breast prosthetics, I will be flying to Florida . Anybody have any advice about going through security at airports etc also wearing them in the heat , any advice greatly appreciated.
Hi, you shouldn’t have any problems going through security, not sure about heat in Florida, though. (For a giggle, hubs had a hip replacement when aged 47 and often needed to travel, his statement before his first security was, ‘if I buzz I’m just going to say, if you can find it you can have it!’ But of course titanium doesn’t buzz!)
Hope all goes well. If there are any queries you just calmly explain it’s a prosthesis. (After all. I’m sure they get lots of model-types with implants)

I was stopped when flying from Heathrow last month after waking through the body scanner (dark shape across left boob area) and said I had a mastectomy. I wasn't checked then but let through. Not sure about Florida, but I wore a Been-a Boob all last summer in London when it was 35c+ (and over 40c one day) and it was OK, but not a solid lump so it was breathable. Some women wear these https://wewearboost.com/ and love them, and they are also great for swimming.
