Hi   daft as it sounds you might find dry eye drops help . Ask your chemo team . My unit supplied me with some when my eyes were bad during chemo .

  • Hiya, I used Theloz duo drops and they helped a bit, I also used hayfever eye drops which helped a bit too, but sadly neither stopped it fully. Hope that helps a bit xx

  • I completely sympathize, my eyes stream too. Started towards the end of my first 6 rounds of chemo last year when my lashes became really sparse. Mentioned it to oncologist who prescribed eye drops.Have had at least 2 lots now and have been told there is nothing else they can do about them.  Am now halfway through 7 rounds of Kadcyla and although my lashes have started to grow back they are very short and my eyes still stream, cannot leave the house without a pocket full of tissues.  Hoping someone out there has some answers.

  • No advice I only started chemo last week and have noticed my bottom eyelashes are already starting to go in places x

  • Hi my eyes started to run towards the end of chemo and for about a month after. I used Boots Eye Drops for Dry & Irritated eyes.

My eyelashes left the building after my 5th out of 6 chemo (Docetaxel) but have grown back now. Using Revitalash every day helps. Good luck Fingers crossed

  • Hi I went to optician for dry red irritated eyes which I’m putting down to letrozole as been through all treatments. He said I had blocked tear drops too and said the blockage will cause runny eyes too. He recommended eyelid hygiene 3-4 times a day which consists of heated eye pads or cotton pads dipped in hot water, place on closed eyelids for 10 mns, taking care to keep topping up the pads so that they are hot for 10ams. Then you need to massage upper and lower eyelids for 30 secs or so before administering eyedrops for dry eyes. I was given hycosan extra then bought them myself from Amazon. Honestly massive help and you should look on YouTube how to massage eyelids for dry eyes. Good luck and I do it 3 times a day
