Hi everyone,
Ladies and gents in the other side, how have you dealt with checking boobs after treatment. I think I have found a lump but can’t stop questioning myself that I’m over thinking it ?
how do we find the happy balance for this!
Hi, it's so difficult isn't it? Some days I think I am being completely paranoid. However, if you think you have found something, either your GP or your consultant will be only too happy for you to make an appointment and get it checked out. Mine have said if I am worried in between my annual checks Injsut have to let the, know and they'll do another mammogram or even an ultrasound if they are concerend. Best wishes
I contacted my breast care team and I have an appointment Wednesday, definitely better to be checked!
It’s good that you have a swift appointment. I also recently found a lump in the remaining breast. Had the ultrasound on Tuesday. It was a fluid filled cyst and the Dr put a needle in and it disappeared. I was told that this is very common after breast surgery (prior to my mastectomy, I had tumour removed in one and breast reduction in the other for symmetry). I hope this is what your lump turns out to be. I wish for you a good outcome. Take care. X
