Bra size after lumpectomy...any advice appreciated!

Hi everyone, I am sure I read something about this when diagnosed a few weeks or so ago, but I can not remember where but I'm now ready to take it in, so please help. I need bras for after the op. Do I need a size up from my usual size? Any help and advice would be appreciated....thank you and loving the support x

I just wore the little crop top bras.....from Sainsburys.....and am still wearing them 6 months later! But I do have small different size boobs....lol

I wore wireless and those crop top bras and I have 38 F sized boobs anything that was low under arm as the lymph wound was more painful than the lumpectomy .

I think sports bras are helpful for some people?

Thank you both...what about bra size, do I just go for my usual size ? They probably told me at my preop, but you know how afterwards you think...oh dear , I should have listened better x

Hi Coddfish...thank you, I think I'm overthinking it all. Was just unsure as the surgeon mentioned volume displacement and was concerned as I'm only 34B anyway, not panicking, I just like to be prepared...will get prepared tomorrow. Hope you are all doing well...thank you for your help x
