Hi I finished Docetaxel last June but my hair hasn’t grown back properly. I have PCIA persistent chemotherapy induced alopecia due to Taxane chemotherapy. My hair is very very thin on the top and back of my head. It’s devastating. Has anyone else had the same outcome.
Hello Mcfc
I am sorry that your hair has not grown back properly after finishing your Docetaxel chemotherapy in June. I understand how devastating this must feel for you.
I wonder whether you may find support on the Chemotherapy forum and there is a thread on there about hair loss. It may be a place that you could connect with others who have had this side effect from the docetaxel. I will pop a link below in case it is something that would help.
