Hi all
I’ve just recently had my first year mammogram
Op last May for IDCgrade 1 stage 1
my mammo was 2 weeks yesterday I was told I would receive results 1-3 weeks
I phoned Bcn today as not received results and feel extremely anxious she checked system and has told me there is nothing on the system for me yet and to phone back next Thursday and she would chase it up then. is it usual to wait this long for results and everything to come back clear I feel so nervous again it’s took me back to last years worries
I believe they're all different and of course extremely busy. I got my results within a day as I'm.on my hospital app. (Mine is frimleyhealthapp). Ask if your hospital have such a thing. All my tests/scans/chemos/heart checks/drugs etc are downloaded by the staff snd I can add new meds to the list if I want to.
can i move there? my london surgery is rubbish, cant see this, or that, maybe this and oh yeah no appts after today unless its an emergency
my first was a week for partial, then two weeks for biopsy, april, may is a bad month for hospital stuff so many long weekends
I spoke to the BCN today she said there was nothing uploaded on system for me yet. Im just worried that not having anything on system means they are checking what they need to do vi know my heads running away with me. Just would think if all was clear you would find out straight away.
Wish we had access to all our notes im Newcastle and guessing our trust doesn’t run the same
x
, go with backlog, i am having the same feelings, but have to remember either way, sitting in fear is no way to live. sending virtual hugs, try doing something that distracts and you enjoy.
tbh i scroll instagram because its mindless to pass the times i get stressed, and cat and dog videos help, or crosswords or writing or walking under trees
Ah thank you I received a letter day 22 stating no causes of concern a further date will be sent for next years mammogram.
I also had a full hysterectomy 3 weeks ago and just received the all clear from that histology so thankfully I’m ok until next years scan anxiety.
pleased your results are all good too x
