Micro calcifications in breast tissue

Hi,

I've had calcifications found on a mammogram on two seperate occasions now. I had to go through a biopsy for each of them but both were benign. Try to stay as positive as possible until you have the results of the biopsy.  Let us know how you get on.

My mum has just had this and biopsy showed benign

I am new to this group diagnosed with microcalcifcations size 12cm and duct carcinoma in situ. Did all the right things checks and just in shock that I have been advised to have masectomy with reconstruction.

Plastic surgeon says I'm not fit for reconstruction due to high bmi and diabetes so will have to lose weight  and go on waiting list. However they have offered reduction  just worried in case it comes back.

I am sorry to hear this but least your getting seen and there will be options I k ow this won't help much but least they have found. I'm praying for you that it is benign how was the reduction I am being considered for this but I'm thinking have masectomy 

Both OK but did get haematoma so implant had to be done twice. I had cancer in both breasts.

Hi I got that in my right breast I was all clear after biopsy but they left markers in my breast so they know when I have my next mammogram that is where the biopsy was done , Mine was found when they found the cancer in my left breast which I have now had a mastectomy and starting treatment on Friday. The trouble is we have to live with cancer even after all treatment is done.

What sort of treatment are you going to have ?

Chemotherapy,radiotherapy and hormone treatment
