Had breast cancer last year, had the op in June, was put on Letrozole afterwards which I'm not impressed with. I had BC the first time over thirty years ago, and can't remember much about aches and pains after the lumpectomy. I had masses of scar tissue in the breast this time from when they burnt me with radiotherapy the first time, and my surgeon didn't want to do a mastectomy (although the lump was tiny and they got it all anyway) because she didn't think the scar tissue would heal well. I am due my 1st mammogram post op next month, does anyone else get slight aching in the area after lumpectomy? Can't feel anything, but it's been uncomfortable sleeping on that side since the op, and there is almost always a slight ache. I'm inclined to believe it's all that scar tissue complaining and changing, but just wondered if anyone else gets that too. Thanks! x
