Hiya everyone I was just wondering has anyone handed they’re notice in and going back to work through having side effects and fatigue of medication
I went to see my oncologist on Wednesday she has started me on targeted therapy drugs to keep my cancer from comming back
but they have nasty side effects similar that of the side effects of chemotherapy so I have handed in my notice through ill heath so can anyone give info as what I need to do next please

Hi, I agree with McQ14 - do check with the MacMillan employment advisors. You are have certain rights and protection under the Equality Act. Without knowing what your job Is/ was, your employer has to do certain things such as consider applicable reasonable adjustments (like working hours or location such as working from home ) or even changing your role temporarily, to take account of side effects, appointments, fatigue etc
