Hi Everyone,
I have read lots of ladies worried about the time they wait between diagnosis and start of treatment.
I was originally diagnosed with an intermediate DCIS from core biopsy , broke my wrist and was then left for 4 months before having a lumpectomy with a final diagnosis of grade 3 triple positive cancer. As you can imagine I have lots of sleepless nights worrying about spread despite having clear sentinel node.
I just wondered if anyone else has been made to wait this long.
Thank you and love and hugs to everyone where ever you are in your treatment. Thinking about you all. xx
Hi WMK that seems an unusually long time, sorry to hear this. I'd advise anyone waiting for longer than they think is reasonable to follow up with the breast care nurse or GP. Hope your recovery is going well
