I am sorry to be posting but I have now had enough! 2 operations and facing chemo and radiotherapy based on a clumsy letter from another hospital telling me I will have a blood test then return home for a telephone call. No advice of contact or why blood tests are needed and my axillary node clearance wound still hasn't healed. I really feel like packing a bag and running. I have been fine so far but this is too much
So, so sorry you’re feeling this bad. No help from your BCN? If not then maybe it’s time to ask your GP practice for a nurse to see you about the wound.
Sometimes consultant secretaries can help sort out a mess or misunderstanding. They can be worth their weight in gold if you get a good one.
please don’t try to persevere in silence, phone the Mac line for advice too, 0808 808 0000.

Thank you for your kindness Moomy. My first centre where I had all my surgery has been great. I have now been referred to another centre for chemo and radiotherapy. They sent a standard letter but omitted any contact details and advised because of COVID I would get a telephone call with a r random doctor not listed on their website when I was expecting a discussion on why chemo is back on the agenda.I have been really positive so far for friends and family. I have just had enough now.Clearly not important enough for someone to take any care whatsoever
