Immediate implant reconstruction

Hi I am now just over 5months from mastectomy and implant.

The pain had pretty much gone but the last few days I am feeling pretty sore at the top of implant.

Can feel the ache all the time and when I touch between top of implant and breastbone it feels very tender and like ive been punched repeatedly.

Anyone had pain 5 months on.

Hi, nerves that get cut in the op do try and regrow so you might be feeling that. If you can bear it, it might be helpful to give it some gentle massage, but it might be useful to contact your BCN as they can reassure you fully. There’s one little spot on mine that is really due to a suture through a nerve, the surgeon apologised, but it doesn’t bother me too much (I’m ( years out now)

Did u have any noticeable blue veins on your reconstructed breast?
