    1. Sadly not able to give advice but I would say each time I had chemo they would take you through a series of questions before they started.  I did mention irregular heartbeat and breathlessness. A couple of days larer I was listed for heart scan which was on the 'High side of normal I've since been tested and it's settled down since ending the drugs. I wish you well xxx
  • Bless you for replying I did tell them and they just said it would settle but never did I feel wacked out especially  as I've just had 3 lots of radiotherapy xx

Hopefully you're coming to the end of this torture soon! XxX

  • Hi   after having chemo ECX6 this did cause some breathlessness. I then had Herceptin x18 . Prior to Herceptin I was told that it could cause reversible damage to heart so  I had echo  prior to starting which was normal after chemo Evian tho breathless , then every three months had they found any damage they said it would be stopped so heart damage could reverse .

It was 2019 when chemo started …..just been signed off my story of treatment is on my profile just click on my name to read . I was 70 when started my body full of aches and pains now but that could be down to age . Yes got stodgy belly but also type2 diabetic so think I’ve given up in that area Joy

RT is tough and depending on how many you have you can end up with sore ribs months after. Its all sadly part of the process BUT always contact macmillan Navigators if you want to ask any questions xxx
