I think that you are meant to remain upright?

Hello! I’m on ibandronic acid and I have had no problems with it but my guidance is not to eat or drink before it or for an hour after taking it. You have to take it once a month. I get up, take it with a full glass of water to ensure it’s gone down and walk the dog, then get ready for work then eat. You can not go back to bed unless you sit totally upright which I would find impossible in bed. It’s staying upright that is important x

Hello. I've been taking ibandronic acid for a while now. I take one tablet every morning. I take it as soon as i get up with a glass of water. I can't drink or eat for 30 minutes after taking it and have to stay upright for 1 hour. I potter around, feed the cat and before i know it the 30 minutes are up so i can have my much needed first coffee of the day. I then jump in she shower and before you know it the 1 hour is up. You don't have to take it at the same time every morning but it must be on an empty stomach, hence first thing when you get up. You'll soon get into a routine and it's really not an issue for me once i got into the routine. I was apprehensive at first but its really fine. Good luck x 

Thanks for all the advice, it’s been really helpful, I will just het myself a morning routine and I’m sure by the time I’ve showered, dried my hair and put my face on the hour will have gone & I caneward myself with a nice cuppa
