Hi everyone. Diagnosed last June with Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage 2, Have done IV chemo, surgery and radio. Currently on Xeloda (round 2). Recent CT scan shows a new liver lesion, have not had any on previous scans. Have to have follow up MRI scan. Hospital said probably benign lesion, but have to wait for MRI scan results in 2 weeks. I’m concerned - has anyone had a benign liver lesion while on Xeloda (I only finished radio last week)? Thanks
Hi, I am sorry that you have further concerns now. I din't have the experience you’re looking for myself but I noticed you’ve not had any replies yet. The site is pretty busy but my response will bump you back to the top and I hope someone will be along soon. Best wishes
Hi I'm in exactly the same position. I have Lobular Cancer, Stage 2, ER+ and PR+. I finished my radiotherapy three weeks ago and I take Letrozole. I had a CT scan for something else but it showed three lesions on my liver. I was told they were probably benign but would need further investigation. I had an Ultrasound last week and they diagnosed two as benign but could not say what the third one was. I now have a MRI in a couple of weeks. I'm very worried because I've already had two different scans and they still can't rule out it's anything "sinister". It's going to be a long wait for the MRI and results. Fingers crossed we both have benign lesions.
