Hello,
I'm coming up 8wks post mastectomy on right side & 5 lymph nodes removed. I've still got some fluid/small seroma sort of under my arm - almost on pectoral muscle and it hard, numb. Previously they have me an ultra sound and said it would go itself.
Still slight restriction in right shoulder is bit tight.
It it normal to take so long for the fluid to be reabsorbed.
Has anyone had similar experiences after mastectomy? Xx
Hello, I'm four and a half months in, still have a small seroma, restriction in right arm and cording, waiting for c t scan. So to reassure you, you are not alone.
Wishing you all the best.
I have seroma and a haematoma and a nasty infection. It's been drained twice, and hurts like mad. Annoying as my range of movement was great. Have another check Wednesday. Feel like the consultant radiologist who drains them is my best buddy! Seem him more in past 14 days than I've seen a gp in 4 years!
