Zolronic Acid

I had my first round of zolronic acid last Thursday that I have to have every 6 months for3 years to safe guard my bones . Has anyone had this . ?
I am suffering terrible side effects , achey bones as over , headaches and generally feel horrid . This is my second day in bed ! And hoping tomorrow this will go .

just wondering how long these aches will last for ?

Hi Pink Betty,

I had similar after my first infusion but absolutely fine after subsequent infusions, no symptoms at all. Hopefully you will be the same and will soon be feeling better.

Put zoladronic acid in the search bar and you’ll see many responses! I’m having my 2nd soon…oh the flu like symptoms! Horrible but do able! Best wishes xxx

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so rubbish, I was unwell for a week, aches, shivers, lack of appetite, tiredness, temperature, really horrible after my 1st.

I have second in a few weeks, my oncologist says it shouldn't be as bad, I really hope so!
