Hi all
I have finally succumbed to the dreaded coronavirus. I finished radiotherapy end of June and had a full lymph node clearance. Does anyone know if I am considered high risk still and should be asking for anti virals or if I am long enough past treatment to be no more at risk than anyone else
Thanks in advance
Hi, I received a letter in January or a February 2022 advising that I was eligible. I’d finished radiotherapy in September 2021, and had mastectomy and axillary clearance end of June 2021. But I think the reason why I got the letter was because I had also finished Chemotherapy in June. I was told that it can take a while before my T cells would be back to normal, but maybe that’s just me. I’d check with your Breast Care nurse. X
Hi, sorry to hear you have Covid. I’d suggest to call NHS 111 or 119 which is the Covid number. They gave me antivirals in April and I had finished radiotherapy in the October before. Best wishes
