Breast reconstruction

Hi.  I had surgery for breast cancer 3 years ago now and have a follow up appointment with my surgeon in a couple of weeks.  Thankfully I have had the all clear.  However I am becoming more conscious of the different shape of my breasts.  Radiotherapy seems to have made the affected breast a lot smaller.  At first I was just happy to be alive but now would like to know if there are any options available to me to create more symmetry?  Does anyone have any experience of this?

I'm having radiotherapy next week, so will have to see how that affects things. However I saw the surgeon last week for a follow up as I have swelling following the reconstruction, and he said they can inject some fat to smooth out the lumps - lipofilling I think he said. Also they can potentially lift the right breast to make everything a bit more even. So it seems like there are options.

Thank you.  That’s really helpful.  Wishing you all the best with your radiotherapy
