Hi everyone,

so I got fitted for my amoena prosthetic nipples last week and was absolutely delighted with the results. I could look in the mirror without being disgusted and they really helped my body image. However, on Saturday I put on a new bra and when I removed it the clothing dye had stained my nipples (and my breasts) black. I have washed my nipples to no avail, it seems to have stained them. Has anyone any ideas on how to get rid of the staining? I have ordered new ones (believe it or not they have a Black Friday sale) but I’d love to fix these so I can wear them while I wait. Even improve them slightly!

Thanks,

Helen

  • Hi MamaH

While I don't have the answer you are looking I thought I'd reply to you to put you up to the top of the discussion.  Hopefully someone will be along to answer your question shortly.

  • Hi Would going back to the cause of the problem help.  You don't say if this comes from your bras, what you were wearing or anything else.  I have had breast reconstruction and kept my nipples and so cannot help any further.

Good luck with tracking down the problem

  • Have you tried contacting Amoena for advice?  I'd be contacting the bra manufacturer too and explaining your issue to them.
