I've got my lumpectomy on Wed 30 Nov. I was wondering what kind of time did it take others to feel well enough to do things? I'm in a local Rock Choir group and we've got lots of engagements coming up for Chr'mas. I've signed up for one on 4 Dec in hopes I will be up to it. Is that too soon or reasonable to consider singing 4 days after the surgery? #hopeful
Thanks. Just don't know what to expect really as far as what will be do-able. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
Hey
I had a right mastectomy and left lumpectomy last Friday
Im exhausted and wouldn’t be able to do what you’re hoping to
However , my lumpectomy side I’ve barely noticed tbh ! It just feels like I’m a bit bruised . I think it will be hard for anyone to predict how you’ll feel as we all react differently to the anaesthetics etc
Rock choir sounds brilliant though so I hope you’ll be able to take part in Pre Christmas events even if it’s not the one a few days after your op
All the best
xx
