Having been diagnosed and undergone mastectomy, chemotherapy for Breast Cancer, am I classed as disabled? I'm sure I read it in some of the paperwork I was given at the start of my treatment? I've been reluctant to apply for a disabled badge as I didn't feel I qualified, however now struggling due to neuropathy
Check it out on the Citizens Advice page - we are protected by disability discrimination law for employment but getting a badge is slightly different - if you are struggling with mobility with neuropathy you should be able to apply.
