Hey all!
I’m Georgie. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 at the age of 32. I was grade 3, her2+. I had chemo, mastectomy and then kadcyla as I didn’t get pcr first time. No node involvement and tumour was 21mm.
Since completing treatment in October last year I’ve been petrified of recurrence. However for about 6 weeks I’ve had a weird sensation in my chest like I’m conscious of my breathing. For the last week I’ve had an uncomfortableness in my shoulder and some chest tightness. I did mention it to my BCN who didn’t seem concerned and said breathlessness from lung mets would be obvious, but I’m scared to death it’s that! Especially now dr Google has told me shoulder pain can be related to lung mets.
i wondered if anyone had experienced lung nets and could explain their symptoms? Or if anxiety could be the cause?
thanks all xx
Hi GeorgieM sorry to hear you've been having some new symptoms that are clearly worrying you. I'd recommend you book an appointment with your GP or your consultant, if nothing more than to put your mind at ease. I also found when I googled it made things so much worse as so many symptoms can be mis-interpreted so try not to get too hung up on that. Best wishes
