I am 3 weeks post radiotherapy (15 sessions) and my implant (Single) is feeling like a lead balloon and just wondering if anyone else has experienced this!?
I was told that the implant would only be temporary as the radiotherapy would/could make it hard and miss-shaped which I totally understand but as I am due to start oral chemo tomorrow until the end of April 23 I have been advised by the breast care nurse that the surgeon won't operate until then. Has anyone had a similar experience and actually been able to have it removed?
Thank you in advance!! x
HI LisaJD
I'm sorry I have no experience of a breast implant, but I see your post has slipped to the 2nd page, so I'm bumping it back up in the hope that someone with knowledge is around now.
Kindest wishes,
Lesley
