I had my lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy a week tomorrow. Pain was ok until Friday I stretched to pick something up and got a awful pain in my armpit which I still have today. Can't see anything. Has anyone else done anything similar.
Hi Poucha, are you doing the arm exercises? Mine was painful when I stretched initially but is not too bad now so long as I keep doing the exercises. I had a day off and felt the twinges again.
Yes I normally sleep with my arms above my head and one night I just threw them up in my sleep and the pain was horrendous - I leapt out of bed! It did hurt for a few days - I kept doing the exercises really gently. I would suggest giving your team a call if it’s still as painful and not improving.
