Hi all, I had a lumpectomy and mammoplasty for DCIS on 21st July 2022 and I’m still getting quite a bit of pain in the affected breast. It’s mainly sharp pains, not all the time and not every day but it’s still quite painful if I lie on that side. Is this normal, I’ve read that pain can take months on not years to settle but I’m getting a bit unsure now? I start my radiotherapy next week.
Thanks for replying, I thought it probably was but going through this experience makes us all on edge and doubtful. Thanks looking forward to get RT done and dusted now
