I am experiencing a very sore scalp , I am at day 17 in my first 21 day cycle of EC and Filgrastim, I am losing hair and wondered if anyone has any advice.
You could try Aloe Vera gel - if you look up www.cancerhaircare.uk they have advice on scalp care and hair loss/regrowth - that’s where I got the tip at an online seminar they did with Look Good Feel Better. Both charities well worth checking out for all things hair/scalp/skin/nail related
I think it is more uncomfortable losing hair when it is long. A soft chemo cap can be really comfortable at home, both day and night. It stops the hair wobbling in its follicles every time it catches and makes it less sore. I hope it settles down soon for you
