Just to say to all ladies whatever stage a lot of people are living with metastatic disease and ok has it’s moments but in todays world we are living better for longer .. today was first day I realised I am one of those ladies .. but I’m here so many only few years back we’re writing a will . Enjoy each day rant vent as only women can lol but we have at least some choices . I was annoyed that October only mildly mentioned metastatic disease .., I felt like Voldemort from Harry Potter there but don’t mention it or itl ruin the vibe . We are living longer and even nowadays stage four is considered more chronic for a lot more people than in the past . Anyway celebrate the achievements of our scientists and researchers who by the way don’t earn a lot but their passion and curiosity has helped all of us and future young women and men .
It’s hard to hear it that’s for sure but the only thing I do know is that people in general can be treated using various means be it radiotherapy biophsphonates ie zoledronic acid iv etc targeted therapy and anti hormone depends on your subtype but I really feel that it’s important you get good advice and help with the whole concept of living well . Everyone is different and need different details . I’m an awkward one as it went to my neck and they think the wee cow gunning for my lungs lol but I’m still here and it will get easier hope u get on ok
