Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to get reasonably priced travel insurance when you've been diagnosed with cancer. Was the link you were looking for to the travel insurance group? Once you've joined look for the thread called 'recommended travel insurance' as that's where you'll find the majority of recommendations all in one place.

Most people report that it's best to phone the insurance companies rather than try and do online quotes as often at the end of the online quote it will tell you to phone the company and you'll then have to go through all the information again. Also, sometimes the broker can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.

furtther to latchbrook’s reply, my daughter had a very long illness with a blood cancer, (see more on my profile) leaving her still at risk of occasionally needing to cancel trips. She tried several companies to insure her travels (both work and holiday) and settled with Insurancewith as they enabled her to travel with confidence, they settled quickly when she needed to cancel a holiday (in fact far quicker than her partner’s insurance) with no questions asked.

As latchbrook said, it’s usually a good idea to phone up, there are sometimes ways that a company can help ‘in person’
