I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2022. After having a single right mastectomy, lymph node removal and reconstruction surgery in March 2022 I have now been on Letrozole and Ibandronic acid for the last six months. My first lot of side effects were my knee joints. I had trouble bending my leg as it was very stiff so found it hard to kneel down and get up from the floor. Once I was up and moving around I could walk for miles but as soon as I stopped and sat down my knees stiffened up again. Not been too bad lately or maybe just getting used to it but I have now got terrible pain in my thumb knuckle/joints on both hands. For the last month I have spent most of the night with pins and needles or stiff fingers in my hand. The thumb knuckles/joints are painful to even touch.
Has anyone any tips or advice or even suffered the same? Will it wear off?? Any advice will be much appreciated.
